this was a favorite of my daughters!





FROZEN GRASSHOPPER PIE





40 chocolate Hydrox or Oreo cookies, crushed


3 TB melted butter


30 large marshmellows


1/2 c milk


1/4 c. white Creme de Cacao


1/3 c. green Creme de Menthe


1/2 pt heavy whipping cream - whipped to stiff peaks


....Mix cookie crumbs with melted butter and press into and up edges of 9'; pie pan. (Save some to sprinkle on top of pie) Heat marshmellows and milk gently, until melted (do not over stir). Cool and add creme de cacao and creme de menthe. Let set until thick. Fold in whipped cream and pour into pie shell. Sprinkle reserved crumbs on top. Ingredients


1 cup chocolate wafer crumbs (about 20 cookies; such as Nabisco's Famous Chocolate Wafers)


2 tablespoons butter, melted


2 tablespoons 1% low-fat milk


1 (7-ounce) jar marshmallow creme


1/4 cup green cr猫me de menthe


2 tablespoons white cr猫me de cacao


1 (8-ounce) container frozen fat-free whipped topping, thawed


3 cups vanilla low-fat ice cream, softened


2 teaspoons chocolate syrup


Preparation





Combine crumbs and butter in a small bowl; stir with a fork until moist. Press into bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Chill.





Combine milk and marshmallow creme in a microwave-safe bowl; microwave at HIGH 1 minute, stirring once. Add cr猫me de menthe, cr猫me de cacao, and whipped topping, stirring until blended.
