Help! My tuna casserole is bland! Hasn't baked yet. Main ingredients so far: tuna, cream of mushroom soup ?

(condensed, right out of can) onion, chopped mushrooms, green peas , pasta, chopped tomato. I've yet to sprinkle top with grated cheddar and crushed potato chips. That will help a little but not enough. Maybe almond slivers? Water chestnuts? Red, cayenne or flaked red pepper?

Thanks.Help! My tuna casserole is bland! Hasn't baked yet. Main ingredients so far: tuna, cream of mushroom soup ?
Add a little white pepper %26amp; a clove of fresh minced garlic. Be careful with the pepper - a little goes a LONG way.Help! My tuna casserole is bland! Hasn't baked yet. Main ingredients so far: tuna, cream of mushroom soup ?
Ok, to bring out the taste of mushrooms: Thyme, Rosemary, Black pepper and Terragon.

For the peas and tomatoes: basil and black pepper

Then to bring out the lovely light taste of the tuna: Thyme and rosemary.

*as you can see, all you need to bring out everything is maybe some thyme, rosemary, and black pepper. You don't necesarily need the terragon, but you may want to add a bit if you have some. And remember, don't add a whole lot of spices. You can always put more in, but you can't take it out. Good luck and enjoy! =)
CHEESY TUNA NOODLE CASSEROLE

1 (12 1/2 oz.) can chunk light tuna in water

1 pkg. frozen vegetables

1 (12 oz.) pkg. wide egg noodles

Season to taste

1 can cream of mushroom soup

1 1/2 c. milk

1 (8 oz.) container sour cream

1 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese

1 1/2 c. grated Mozzarella cheese

Cook and drain vegetables. Heat soup, milk, and sour cream. Blend until smooth. Cook and drain noodles. Mix all ingredients together with tuna and 3/4 cups each of Cheddar and Mozzarella cheese. Pour into 9 x 13 inch pan. Top with remaining cheese and bake in 350 degree oven for 20- 25 min minutes.

I know it's a little late but this is for next time. If you have some sour cream add that and maybe some bacon bits if you have them.
i would pass on the almonds or water chesnuts myself but if you like em of course go for it...

but, try adding some of your fave spices....go for the crushed red pepper flakes, maybe a hint of garlic....black pepper....italian seasoning..

you have all the main ingredients now you just need to jazz it up a bit with your fave spices is all it sounds like..

have fun and happy cooking! :)
I also add corn, but that's a personal preference. If you want more colour add chopped red pepper. You could add a little mustard, or curry powder, not both. Garlic is good. Whatever you decide to add, use a little at a time, mix it in, and then taste it. That way you won't overdo it.
Does everyone jump on the computer while cooking to ask a question about what they are cooking and sit there for people to answer them? I really doubt it. These questions sound like a joke. Read a cookbook it would be way faster or use your brain and add salt and pepper.
Try adding some chick stock in the cubed version. If you crumble it up and add if it will add a depth or richness to your dish. You might also want to add some chopped garlic.
add salt

small dices of pimiento can help too
