While cookin, wat does the ingredient half-and-half stand for?? also is cream cheese the same as cheese cubes??

can i use cheese spread as a substitute for cream cheese??also wat is all purpose flour,is the same as corn-flour..???While cookin, wat does the ingredient half-and-half stand for?? also is cream cheese the same as cheese cubes??
Half and half of half cream and half milk, but cream cheese is NOTHING like cream cheese and should not be used as a substitute!!!!! If a recipe calls for cream cheese it is for the taste and texture (think cheese cake- you would never want cheese cubes used instead of cream cheese right? Same thing). Also, all-purpose flour is white and fine powder, used for anything needing thickening... corn flour is used to corn bread and corn related things and is yellow and grainy... never use corn flour in place of all purpose. And lastly, NEVER use cheese spread as a substitute for cream cheese.. like I said- if it calls for cream cheese- USE CREAM CHEESE! :)

Good luck, it sounds like you're going to need it.. :)While cookin, wat does the ingredient half-and-half stand for?? also is cream cheese the same as cheese cubes??
Half and half is half cream and half milk. You can buy it in the dairy section of your store and it will say that. it usually comes in cardboad pints. Cheese cubes can come in many varieties although it is usually american cheese or cheddar cheese. Yes you could probably substitute cheese spread for cream cheese. all purpose flour is nothing like corn flour.
half heavy whipping cream and half milk,no, no.no
