Is it true that air is the major ingredient in ice cream?

how? air is just like not visible and i dont know. proof please. thanksIs it true that air is the major ingredient in ice cream?
I would guess milk....not air...Is it true that air is the major ingredient in ice cream?
i dont think air is a major ';ingredient'; per say...but the amount of air that is whipped into ice cream when it's being made (ice cream machine) is what distinguishes it from other frozen treats like gelato (less air whipped into it) or frozen custard...

cheers.
Lol, I don't think a lot of air is visible to be fair, but ice cream is in fact, 20% to 50% air. This is why ice cream is so light. Think about it-- without air, ice cream would be just like frozen milk (really hard like an ice cube), but because there's so much air in it, it's light and fluffy.
lol... you may think that hydrogenated cream, or whipped cream is air, but is not exactly, is cream that is treated and it has more volume.
Air might be the main ingredient in cotton candy but not ice cream. cream would be the main ingredient. Just a wild guess.
