What ingredients should I stay away from when looking for a cleanser and/or cream?

I'm 23 years old. My skin lately has been dried and flaky (especially around my checks and chin area). I'm thinking of trying Pond's exfoliating Clean Sweep Cucumber Cleansing Towelettes (as a cleanser) and Pond's Dry Skin Cream after using the Pond's exfoliating Clean Sweep Cucumber Cleansing Towelettes. When I look for a cleanser and a cream, what ingredients should I stay away from since I seem to have dry skin? If I don't do the whole thing with Pond's stuff, I thought about getting Skin MD Natural and just use that (no cleanser and so on). What ingredients should I stay away from when looking for a cleanser and/or cream?

One thing to stay away from is mineral oil. Or if the product lists petrolatum. These are very drying to the skin.
